I have been on a kick lately watching a ton of creature features. Hollywood used to thrive on B-movies packed with monsters, gore, and shocking ideas.

Those movies sometimes even went mainstream, with creatures like Jaws and the Swamp Thing becoming part of the cultural lexicon.

One of the best ways to break into Hollywood is through the horror genre, and one of the most fun things to write in horror is a creature feature. One that showcases your creativity not only in the monster but in the jump scares that keep your audience on edge and get cast and crew leaning in, dying to make your masterpiece.

Today, I wanted to give you 100 creature feature prompts to get your brain cooking and maximize your time so you can be as creative as possible and put your personal spin on these things.

Let's dive in.
