Terms & Conditions

These terms govern membership of StreamBroadcaster — our live streaming, video hosting, channel distribution (Roku, Fire TV, Android TV), content marketplace, shop and sponsorship services. By creating an account you confirm you have read and agree to everything below.

This is app-owned content maintained by the StreamBroadcaster team, not legal advice. If you need a bespoke agreement for your organisation, contact us before signing up.

1. Membership & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) and provide accurate account details. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including activity by team members you invite.

Agreeing to these terms is a condition of account creation. If you do not agree, do not create an account.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload, stream, generate or publish — episodes, live streams, videos, artwork, music, channel branding and shop listings ("your content").

You warrant that you hold all rights needed for your content, including music, footage, likenesses and third-party material, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

3. Network distribution licence

By publishing content on StreamBroadcaster you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, encode, transcode, cache, watermark, excerpt, promote and stream your content — and to share and redistribute it with other channels, partners and platforms within the StreamBroadcaster network (including our directory, Live TV, EPG guide, blog, connected TV apps and syndication partners), for as long as your content remains published.

You agree that no additional compensation is owed for this network distribution beyond the payouts you already earn through our established monetisation channels — revenue share, tips and super chats, memberships, shop sales, sponsorship and ad revenue, and content marketplace licence fees. Platform fees are applied according to your plan's published take rate.

Where you set an asset to a paid or restricted licence in the content marketplace, we will honour those licence terms when distributing it. Removing or unpublishing your content ends the licence going forward; copies already delivered, cached, embedded or licensed to others may persist.

4. Revenue, licensing & payouts

Earnings are calculated from the revenue actually collected by our payment processors, less refunds, chargebacks, processor fees and the platform take rate for your plan. Marketplace licensing revenue is split according to the licence type you selected when listing the asset.

Loyalty points, reward credits and affiliate rewards have no cash value and are redeemable only for the benefits shown in the app.

5. Plans, billing & entitlements

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Plan limits — channels, storage, multistream destinations, team seats, marketplace listings, API access and connected TV platforms — are enforced server-side. Downgrading or cancelling automatically re-evaluates your entitlements and may disable capacity above your new plan's limits.

6. Acceptable use

No illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative or deceptive content; no malware, scraping, rate-limit evasion or attempts to bypass access controls, paywalls or licensing checks; no re-uploading other members' content without a valid licence.

We may moderate, age-gate, unpublish or remove content and suspend accounts that breach these rules, and we respond to valid copyright takedown notices.

7. Service availability & liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted streaming, specific viewership, earnings or third-party platform approval. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Termination & data

You may cancel or request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. On closure, published content is unpublished and your data is handled as described on our Trust & Security page.

9. Changes & contact

We may update these terms as the service evolves; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions about these terms, licensing or takedowns can be sent to our team through the contact details in the app.
