Privacy Policy

Account data: email address, display name, avatar, and profile details you enter. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile and email from that provider.

Content you create: channels, episodes, videos, uploads, blog posts, shop listings, marketplace assets, chat messages, questions, polls and reactions.

Usage data: watch progress, viewer counts, follows, loyalty and affiliate activity, and basic technical logs (IP address, device/browser, timestamps) used for security, abuse prevention and stream health.

Commerce data: orders, memberships, tips, payouts and licence records. Card and account numbers are handled by our payment processors — we never store them.

To operate the service (deliver streams and video, run chat, publish channels and guides), to manage memberships and entitlements, to process purchases and payouts, to personalise recommendations and continue-watching, to send notifications you enable, and to keep the platform safe and moderated.

We do not sell your personal data. Public content you publish — channel pages, videos, listings, blog posts, public chat — is intentionally visible to others.

Content you publish may be distributed across the StreamBroadcaster network as described in our Terms & Conditions. Where an identity field (such as an asker or poster name) is not required to be public, we restrict it server-side and expose only non-identifying fields.

Some features send prompts and related content to AI providers to generate text, video, voiceover, music or images. Where you connect your own provider key, that key is stored for your account and used only to make requests on your behalf; you can remove it at any time from AI settings.

We rely on third parties to run the service, including our cloud backend and database host, payment processors (such as Stripe, PayPal and BTCPay where enabled), streaming and CDN infrastructure, email delivery, and any AI or storage provider you connect (for example Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive). Each processes data only to provide its part of the service.

We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in sessions, security, preferences (such as sound and playback settings) and basic product analytics. Blocking them may break sign-in and playback.

We keep account and content data while your account is active. Notifications are auto-deleted after 30 days when you enable that option. Transaction, payout and licence records are retained as long as needed for accounting and dispute handling. On account closure, published content is unpublished and personal data is deleted or anonymised, except where we must keep records by law.

Access to data is controlled by row-level security policies and server-side checks, so accounts can only reach their own records and sensitive columns are not exposed publicly. Traffic is served over HTTPS. No online service can promise perfect security, but we review and harden access rules regularly — see our Trust & Security page.

The service is not intended for children under 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live). If we learn we have collected data from a child below that age, we delete it.

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent for optional features. Most of this is available directly in your profile and settings; for anything else, or to report a security concern, contact our team through the details in the app.
