November 3 is Election Day in the United States, and Jubilee Media is keeping its eye on the night’s returns. The Gen Z-focused media company will host its first-ever election special as it tracks the results in several key races across the country.
Jubilee has made a name for itself with political coverage that walks down the center of the aisle on platforms like YouTube and Instagram. Earlier this year, it doubled down on that approach by launching The Split, a semi-regular news program designed as an antidote to siloed feeds on social media. With both liberal and conservative viewpoints, The Split is a Gen Z answer to the bygone CNN program Crossfire.
Now, the bipartisan hosts of The Split will anchor Jubilee’s election coverage. David Mauricio and Austin Julio Broughton will go live on YouTube, with “surprise guests” waiting in the wings, according to a Jubilee press release.
For Jubilee, the November 3 stream will be the culmination of a busy election season. Three weeks before Election Day, the media company teamed up with CNN and Texas Senate candidate James Talarico for an innovative town hall event.
Talarico has made digital outreach a key part of his campaign. In Texas, creators Destiny, Mr. Mouton, and I’mReallyImportant have teamed up with Digital Ground Game to mobilize Gen Z volunteers and get out the vote. That level of engagement has given Talarico a great chance to defeat Republican opponent Ken Paxton, and Jubilee has put itself at the heart of that political action.
That sort of energy has been everywhere in 2026. The 2024 cycle may go down in history as the “influencer election,” but this year has been the time when creators took their organizational efforts to the next level. Jubilee will get one more chance to celebrate that sea change as the votes are counted on the 3rd.
