Welcome to our rundown of the most-watched branded YouTube videos of the week.
We’re publishing this snippet of a larger Gospel Stats Weekly Brand Report in order to analyze sponsorship trends in the creator economy. Any video launched in tandem with an official brand partner is eligible for t he ranking.
And–as the name up above would imply–all the data comes from Gospel Stats. If you’re interested in learning more about Gospel–and which brands are sponsoring what creators on YouTube–click here. You can also download our YouTube 2025 Sponsorship Landscape Report here.
This week’s Gospel Stats Brand Report kicks off with an adrenaline rush and then tapers into a nice relaxing day trip to the lake. In between, we’ve got a YouTube-sponsored video, some questionable fitness decisions, and more.
Check ’em all out below:
#1 If You Escape, You Win $1,000,000
Channel: MrBeast Gaming and Call of Duty
Brand: Call of Duty
Views: 56,792,187
Something something we got MrBeast in Call of Duty before GTA 6.
There’s $1 million on the line in Jimmy Beast’s new collab with CoD promotes its latest Modern Warfare installment–and specifically the game’s “DMZ” mode, which pits players against each other and the environment around them. With NPC dangers lurking, players can choose to team up for safety in numbers…but eventually all bonds must break, as only one team can emerge victorious.
MrBeast’s video drops 10 teams into a real-life army camp where they split into their own technologically tricked out tents and hop into a DMZ match. The last team alive in-game keeps the cash prize IRL.
MrBeast called this collab a “dream come true,” and we’re guessing CoD‘s developers might feel similarly, considering the view count for this video. They also produced a Short together this week; that one came in at #9 on our list, with more than 12 million views.
#2 I cant stop listening to the song ? @YouTube #YouTubePartner #sofimanassyan #LISA
Channel: Sofi Manassyan
Brand: YouTube
Views: 26,314,085
Blackpink‘s YouTube dominance might never fade. Its frontwoman dancer and rapper, LISA, is square in the spotlight for this new YouTube-sponsored promo.
And for that promo, YouTube tapped another frontwoman: director, writer, actress, and producer Sofi Manassyan, who has more than 11 million subscribers and is behind the Tubi whodunnit series Who Did It? For this 30-second clip, she takes viewers through the trials and tribulations of being a LISA fan on drop day of the rapper’s new solo track “Tarantino.”
Manyassan doesn’t mention her sponsor till the last couple seconds of the video, where, through faux fan tears, she tells viewers to go watch more LISA content on YouTube.
This is an intriguing one for us. YouTube has historically rarely sponsored creators–but in the past couple years, it’s brought groups of creators to major events like the World Cup, teamed up with Mark Rober for his STEM education initiative, and signed a multiyear partnership with MrBeast that spans numerous Google products. (There’s also the thing with it paying creators to stay off Netflix.)
And, on top of its creator team-ups, YouTube has been pushing its Music service, one of the key areas where it competes with other platforms like Spotify. Combining the two might be some pretty strong sauce.
#3 I Survived Chinas Fat Loss Prison
Channel: Browney
Brand: Gymshark, Myprotein
Views: 18,223,893
MrBeast isn’t the only channel hitting our top 5 with a weight loss challenge video. The difference is, Browney himself is the one in the hot seat.
He went to China and sent himself to one of the country’s “fat loss prisons,” where people who want to lose weight voluntarily (at least, it’s supposed to be voluntary) enter and are not allowed to leave until they’ve gotten skinnier. While they’re in the “prison,” people sleep in dorms, do four hours of exercise a day, and have strictly controlled meals.
Browney, whose YouTube tagline is “everything is a challenge,” spends 50 hours in the place getting to know his fellow “inmates,” hearing their stories, and experiencing what they’re going through to lose weight. Perhaps unsurprisingly, his upload is sponsored by two fitness brands: workout clothing company Gymshark and supplement company Myprotein.
#4 Riding 1300 Miles to Alaska on Jet Ski – Camping & Fishing
Channel: Matt Spears
Brand: AnyDesk
Views: 17,221,584
This two-hour odyssey of a video chronicles creator Matt Spears‘ much longer odyssey. He recently became the first person to jetski up the West Coast of the U.S., along the shores of Canada, and up to Alaska. It was an enormous undertaking: 1,300 miles of near-constant travel, all his gear and fuel packed into one vehicle, and nobody to rely on but himself.
His accomplishment has racked up more than 17 million views for his sponsor AnyDesk, and is part of the company’s overall creator support initiative.
“If you have any ridiculous experiments that you would love to see your favorite YouTubers test online you can submit them here. If you submit an idea that ends up being used for a video we will ship you some swag and potentially a prop from one of the videos,” AnyDesk–which makes remote desktop software–said on a landing page linked by Spears. “At AnyDesk, we’re passionate about science, creativity, and collaboration. Whether it’s testing a car battery-powered computer or building something completely ridiculous, we love connecting people who think outside the box.”
AnyDesk also sponsored two other videos this week: #537 from Scammer Payback, and #944 from Trilogy Media.
BONUS #5,029 autumn in los angeles | unique coffee recipes, lake arrowhead day trip
Channel: Brandon Chou
Brand: Away
Views: 43,527
So much of our YouTube feeds these days are ultra-high-energy shoutfests, super-tuned to keep viewers glued as long as possible. It can feel like a treat when something comes up and no one’s yelling at you or going Taken with the editing.
Slow and easy is the vibe with Brandon Chou‘s week-in-the-life vlog, where he leaves L.A. behind and takes viewers up to Lake Arrowhead, which is nestled in the San Bernardino National Forest at 5,000 feet elevation. Being that close to the sky means lots of great shots, and Chou lingers on them as he and his friends walk through the local shops, pick up ingredients to make dinner in their Airbnb, and roast marshmallows to the sound of lapping water.
The video is, fittingly, sponsored by luggage company Away, and though Chou’s plug for the company is relatively short, his entire vlog lures viewers with a call-to-action, telling them: get out of the city, away from the stress, and go look at something beautiful.
…and there’s a lot more data where that came from. If you like our Weekly Top 5, you’ll love everything else Gospel has to offer.
