Zack D. Films is leading the Global Top 50 for the second week in a row. The American creator, who explores curious situations and places, was the only person to cross the billion-view mark during the second full week of October. He topped out with 1.1 billion weekly views.

T-Series took second place behind Zack D. Films for the second week in a row. After sitting atop the Global Top 50 throughout September, T-Series is relying on its subsidiary channels to keep the views coming — and at least one of them is delivering in a big way.

Navratri celebrations have become an annual tradition on YouTube

In North America, October is spooky season, but in India, the month of Ashvin (which typically coincides with September and October) is filled with Navratri celebrations. The Hindu festival honors the universal feminine power, Shakti, through celebrations of the goddess Durga and her nine forms. In fact, Navratri literally translates to “nine nights.”

There are numerous traditions associated with Navratri, and these days, Hindus turn to YouTube to connect with those traditions. The sacred music associated with Navratri can be found on T-Series Bhakti Sagar, the devotional offshoot of India’s leading record label.

The main T-Series channel is (almost) always found in the Global Top 50, but Bhakti Sagar only makes annual appearances in the ranking. It showed up during Navratri season in 2024 and again in 2025. As Navratri takes over the Hindu world in 2026, T-Series Bhakti Sagar is soaring even higher. It picked up 401.6 million weekly views to reach 32nd place in the Global Top 50. The channel’s classic Devi Bhajan compilations still grab the bulk of the Navratri views, but T-Series Bhakti Sagar continues to add new videos each year as well.

For a major media company like T-Series, serving Hindus during Navratri is no problem. At the same time, independent creators have found their own ways to share the festive spirit. Since each of the nine days of Navratri are dedicated to a specific form of Durga, some channels have opportunities to share nine different looks or presentations with millions of YouTube subscribers.

On the surface, Chandni Ji Vlogs appears to be just another family channel aiming for the crowded South Asian market. During Navratri, however, Chandni Ji stands out. Over nine days, it has delivered nine artistic interpretations of Durga’s forms. Some of those sketches have picked up millions of views on their own.

The traffic Chandni Ji earned during Navratri has helped the channel cross the million-subscriber mark on YouTube. And compared to the previous month, Chandni Ji’s YouTube traffic is way up.

October 19 is the last night of Navratri, and in the following weeks, we’ll see the Global Top 50 course correct. At some point, T-Series Bhakti Sagar will drop out of the ranking, only to return in 2027.

But for channels devoted to Hindu festivals, the fun doesn’t have to end. After all, Diwali begins on November 8, and the festival of lights will give smart channels another chance to break into our rankings.
